Fabulous Performers to Include . . .

Kate Sullivan and Company
10:00 am - 12 Noon

Kate Sullivan has been bringing her outstanding talents to Pacific Northwest audiences for over twenty years. She started out as a soloist on a twelve string guitar and vocals, and very soon expanded to Kate Sullivan and Company, a six piece rock/rhythm and blues band. Many fans have enjoyed the all women band, Loose Wimmin, featuring Kate again as lead vocalist. Kate has recently joined the ensemble for the musical comedy Hot Flashes.

Kate has performed as a soloist for the opening ceremonies of the Oregon House of Representatives and for the Portland Marathon. With the bands, she has performed for the Oregon State Fair, The Oregon Country Fair, The Bite of Portland, Give Peace a Dance, and many local parks and recreation venues. Kate has served as Grand Marshall of Portland's Pride Northwest.

Kate Sullivan and Company consists of Kate with Don Justis on Lead Guitar, Harvey McDaniels on Bass Guitar, Pam Krieg on Drums, Gene McGee on Keyboards, and Alex Misar on Saxophone.

Confluence
Willamette Valley LGBT Chorus
12:00 Noon - 12:30 pm

Confluence is a very diverse group of fun loving people who meet in Salem, Oregon, on Sunday afternoons from 4 to 6:30 pm to sing together. We have been meeting like this since 2000, and have grown from the original 16 to about 40-45 singers now. We strive to create high quality music without being "stuffy".

We are an LGBT chorus in that we sing music which celebrates and affirms the lives of gays and lesbians, bisexuals, and transgendered individuals. However, our membership is comprised of people from these modes of life and straight people, too. We are truly open and accepting to all people!

Zephyr Tribal Fusion
Improv Belly Dance Troupe
12:45 - 1:15 pm

Zephyr is a nine-woman tribal fusion belly dance troupe based in Salem, Oregon. They perform a derivative of American Tribal Style dance, which has grown out of more diverse histories of Arabic, Egyptian, Turkish, and Lebanese belly dancing.

The diversity of style is evident in the musical choices each dancer makes for their solo performances. Traditional and modern Middle Eastern pieces are common choices, but no less likely than Depeche Mode or Paul Oakenfold.

R.A.D.D. Productions
1:15 - 1:45 pm

R.A.D.D. Productions boasts a cast of some of the Willamette Valley's most loved performers. Together, we strive to expand the audience's 'drag experience' by combining talent with professional choreography and costuming.

Brayden Michaels
1:45 - 2:00 pm

Brayden Michaels was born Rhonda Moles who is now known by Shorty to all her close friends. After a year in Afghanistan she was discharged for being gay, and that is when Brayden Michaels was born in Norfolk Virginia. Brayden has been performing off and on for 10 years. He has performed at many different venues and bars including all over Virginia and North Carolina. He also performed at the Hampton Roads Pride in Virginia in front of over 1000 people. He was part of a drag troop called the RockStar Brothers. In 2009 Brayden was crowned King of Hampton Roads where, after his reign was completed in 2010, he handed his crown over to his brother that is also a RockStar Brother. Brayden loves to perform and enjoys entertaining all kinds of crowds. He moved back to be closer to his family here in Oregon and is excited to build a huge fan base here. So as he would say, “If you’re sad, lonely, need to laugh, or just want to get away from reality for a couple hours come out and see me.” He promises you won’t be disappointed and you never know what he’ll bring or do. Much love to all.

Johanna
2:00 - 3:00 pm

Johanna wrote her first song at 9 years old. By the time she was 20 she had released her first album of original music, studied songwriting with Chris Williamson and Tret Fure, musical improvisation with jazz singer Rhiannon and rhythm-master Keith Terry, performed in musical theatre, rock and world-beat bands, gospel and women's community choirs, improvisational acting and singing troupes, social action theatre groups, films (including Gus Van Sant's Sundance Award-winning Elephant), and countless festivals, political rallies, clubs, coffee houses, colleges, and universities.

In 2005 she completed her BS in Women's Studies with a focus on Diversity Education and a minor in Theater with a focus on Social Action and Improvisation. Her music has been influenced by Ani Difranco, Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Carol King, Grace Slick, Tracy Chapman, Bette Midler, The Indigo Girls, The Beatles, and Motown.

A Special Surprise Guest!
3:00 - 4:00 pm

Devitto P
4:00 - 4:30 pm

Devitto Pentell, also known as Dev the Kid, is a homegrown artist from Salem, Oregon. He specializes in Hip Hop & Harmony (an original mix of Hip Hop and R&B). Devitto has extensive experience in the music industry which has been acquired over his 15+ years of doing music. His musical journey began when he began writing songs at the age 15 while still in high school, forming his first group “Throwing Stones”. After a split in 1994, Devitto linked up with DJ Shawn and began doing parties as the newly formed group “The Dynasty”. In 1995, Devitto was then introduced to Mista Stone Kapone, Bigg-O, and Kansir Sosay and the “Four Finger Dynasty” was born. The deal translated into the classic Salem album “North West Finest”, recorded in 1997 and released in 2000. After group-related issues, Devitto broke from the group and began his solo career, giving him the chance to discover other skills such as producing music, promoting, studio engineering, marketing, and overall business savvy. Devitto began doin solo performances which has translated to over a hundred venues in his career.
